Knowledge cards are compact, interactive representations of structured information. They’re designed to make complex data easy to understand, embed, and share - ideal for both human users and AI agents. We often refer to them as “atomic units of knowledge,” “mini encyclopedias,” or “information memes.” Each card is generated based on the semantic meaning of a user’s prompt and includes the most relevant data we can retrieve. Cards are composed of elements like charts, tables, text, navigation, sourcing, and methodology information. Enterprise customers can theme cards so they look more native in their products.

Example

A query like “AMD vs. Nvidia headcount since 2013” produces a card that pulls Full-Time Employee counts from S&P and renders a side-by-side time series chart, complete with interactive date selection.
Tako supports a wide range of card formats like financial line charts, professional sports schedules, and M&A transaction tables. More customization and sharing features are coming soon.
